Make a treasure map that leads children to little treasures they can collect along the way, and highlight key walking routes through ‘hidden clues’ – a great way to encourage children to explore nature.
If your kids love being creative, why not visit the nearby woods or walking routes and collect items to make art and crafts from? Twigs, leaves and acorns make the perfect items to create a wonderful autumnal painting or Christmas cards with!
